Mechanical Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team and lead on-site mechanical activities during the installation and finishing phases of Wind Farm construction. The Mechanical Supervisor will work closely with the Electrical Supervisor to ensure that all activities are executed safely and efficiently, adhering to the highest standards of quality.
Your main responsibilities:
- Supporting the Quality Manager in technical non-conformities and compliance with 'Management of Change' requirements,
- Assisting Site Managers with quality and incoming goods inspections and taking charge of defining FGR (Foundation Grouting Reinforcement) locations,
- Assist the Site Managers, Quality Manager and Civil Project Engineer on pre-erection anchor cage and foundation checks,
- Leading the installation and operation of Scruton Coils,
- Resolving quality deviations to ensure not only a smooth handover to the customer but also a smooth operation over the Wind Turbine lifetime,
- Providing ad-hoc training to the site team and subcontractors.
As part of this role, the employee will be required to travel within the Nordic region and work away from home on a 4-week rotation. This will involve working 10-hour shifts for 3 weeks on-site, followed by 1 week of rest at home. The first and last days of the rotation will be travel days.
Your profile:
- A completed vocational training in Mechanics/Mechatronics or a similar field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with construction projects and minimum of 1 year of experience with a similar role in the wind industry.
- Familiar with mechanical and rotating systems, hydraulic systems, and quality management.
- Good English communication skills are a must in this job, as most of our instructions, trainings and internal communications are in English. Good computer skills are also an advantage.
- As this role requires working at heights, a good physical condition is a requirement for the job. Therefore, you will need to pass a medical check prior to starting with us.
