Electrical Supervisor

We are currently seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join our team and lead on-site activities during the installations and finishing phases of our Wind Farm projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Mechanical Supervisor to ensure all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Your tasks
- Leading and coordinating on-site activities,
- Ensuring that Subcontractors follow Nordex procedures and instructions
- Assisting the Site Manager, Quality Manager and Electrical Project Engineer on foundation and component electrical continuity checks
- Checking for completeness before releasing for commissioning team,
- Statutory Inspections,
- Providing ad-hoc training,
- Resolving quality deviations to ensure a smooth handover to the customer and a smooth operation over the WTG's (Wind Turbine Generator’s) lifetime.
As part of this role, the employee will be required to travel within the Nordic region and work away from home on a 4-week rotation. This will involve working 10-hour shifts for 3 weeks on-site, followed by 1 week of rest at home. The first and last days of the rotation will be travel days.
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in Electronics/Electrical or a similar field,
- Experience with Electrical systems (low, medium and high voltage), schematic skills and basic understanding of integrated electrical machinery & hydraulic systems.
- Minimum of one year of experience in similar roles
- Good English communication skills are a must in this job, as most of our instructions, trainings and internal communications are in English. Good computer skills are also an advantage.
- As this role requires working at heights, a good physical condition is a requirement for the job. Therefore, you will need to pass a medical check prior to starting with us.
