Working student (m/f/d) - #coding for testing and software deployment

As a Working Student in Software Deployment & Testing, you will join an agile team of SCADA specialists and DevOps experts within PM‑Engineering. You will gain hands‑on experience in software development, testing, and deployment within wind farm project execution. Your work contributes to reliable IT/OT systems and supports the delivery of wind energy projects worldwide.

YOUR TASKS

  • You support SCADA specialists and DevOps experts in daily operations and ongoing software deployment activities
  • You take ownership of smaller IT/OT projects and contribute to their structured execution within the Software Deployment & Testing environment
  • You develop and apply scripts using Python or PowerShell and support data‑driven tasks in the context of software development
  • You gain practical experience in testing different software layers and contribute to ensuring system stability and performance
  • You support the deployment of wind farm software and learn how IT/OT systems are implemented in real project environments
  • You work with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow and gain insights into business operations and project workflows

YOUR PROFILE

  • Enrolled student (m/f/d) in engineering, IT, informatics, or a comparable field
  • First experience in programming or scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell) and strong interest in coding
  • Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Structured, motivated, and team‑oriented working style with strong initiative
  • Interest in software deployment, DevOps, and IT/OT environments
  • Fluent English skills; German is an advantage
