Working student (m/f/d) IT Strategic Sourcing

As a Working Student IT Strategic Sourcing, you will support the IT Strategic Sourcing team in supplier management, sourcing activities, and procurement processes within an international environment. You will contribute to market analysis, supplier onboarding, and operational sourcing activities while collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers. This position offers practical experience in IT procurement, supplier management, and strategic sourcing processes.
YOUR TASKS
Supplier Management
- Scout the market for potential new IT suppliers.
- Support supplier homologation by preparing and coordinating NDAs.
- Assist in the onboarding process by creating suppliers in the vendor system.
Procurement Projects
- Support the team in running sourcing projects (software, hardware, services).
- Create and manage RFQs (Requests for Quotation).
- Gather and compare supplier offers, supporting the evaluation process.
- Provide structured feedback and input to buyers on supplier proposals.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Prepare documentation and summaries for sourcing board meetings.
- Support in contract preparation and coordination with stakeholders.
- Maintain procurement data (such as supplier contacts, contracts..etc), ensuring accuracy in systems and reports.
YOUR PROFILE
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program (preferably) in Business Administration, Procurement, IT Management, or a related field
- You have a strong interest in procurement, IT sourcing, supplier management, and strategic purchasing processes
- You have excellent English communication skills (minimum C1), both written and spoken; knowledge of German and/or Spanish is a plus
- You have strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; SAP knowledge is an advantage
- You possess strong communication skills and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
- You work in a structured and detail-oriented manner and are able to manage tasks independently
- You demonstrate a proactive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
