Working Student (m/f/d) - ISMS Governance Team

As a Working Student in the ISMS Governance Team, you will actively support the ongoing development and enhancement of the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS). In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in governance, risk management, and compliance within a dynamic international environment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced information security professionals, actively contributing to real-world security initiatives and improvement projects.
YOUR TASKS
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and maintenance of the company’s information security governance framework
- Contribute to the development, review, update, and enhancement of information security policies, procedures, and internal security documentation
- Assist in supplier and third-party risk management activities
- Assist in the coordination and documentation of security-related events and follow-up actions
- Prepare and update awareness and training materials to strengthen security culture across the organization
- Assist in tracking remediation measures and monitoring implementation progress
- Support risk-related management activities, including identifying, evaluating, and documenting potential security risks
- Contribute to internal communications and knowledge-sharing initiatives related to information security
YOUR PROFILE
- You are currently enrolled in student in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant field such as Information Security, Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Management, Criminology, Law, Business Administration, or similar disciplines related to governance, risk, or compliance
- You have a strong interest in information security governance, risk management and compliance topics and have a high sense of responsibility when handling sensitive information
- You collaborate effectively in a team and work well independently in a structured and reliable matter
- You have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- You have good English communication skills (minimum B2), knowledge of German is a plus
- You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of information security principles and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001) is a plus
