The Tender Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end tender process, from creating the execution strategy and preparing the proposal to budgeting, planning, contract negotiation, and managing associated risks. This role requires deep knowledge of renewable energy projects, excellent project management skills, and a strong understanding of commercial, technical, and contractual aspects of wind energy projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including technical, commercial, and legal departments to deliver high-quality proposals that meet client requirements while optimizing project feasibility and profitability.

 

YOUR TASKS
•    Work as part of the extended Sales Team for the preparation of turbine installation offers regarding project management topics such as project planning, logistics and transport, project cost planning, contractual interfaces, etc.
•    Develop an execution strategy during sales phase, ensuring the turbine installation approach meets operational feasibility and client requirements
•    Develop detailed execution schedules, resource plans, and risk management strategies for a successful project
•    Develop a detailed project budget aligned with the project’s scope, execution plans and contract agreements
•    Lead the negotiation of terms and conditions with clients, alongside the commercial and legal teams
•    Conduct a thorough risk assessment during the sales phase, identifying potential project risks
•    Develop risk management strategies for the project
•    Lead cross-functional teams during the sales phase, driving collaboration between internal functions to develop a competitive proposal
•    Representing the Nordex organization to our clients – creating a good relationship with the client and delivering customer satisfaction
•    Built, develop and maintain relationships towards potential suppliers and sub-contractors (EPC, BoP partners, designers, etc.)
•    Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and innovations in the wind energy sector to provide strategic insights and maintain competitive advantage


 
YOUR PROFILE
•    Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
•    Demonstrable experience in tender management, project management, or commercial roles within onshore wind energy or other large-scale infrastructure/renewable energy
•    Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, stay focused under pressure, and lead teams with confidence
•    Strong understanding of the technical, financial, and contractual aspects of wind energy projects
•    Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, and risk management for large-scale energy or infrastructure projects
•    Hands-on experience in negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
•    Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities and strong financial acumen
•    Understanding of contract management and negotiation, particularly in relation to large-scale infrastructure projects
•    Willingness to go on business trips within Eastern European countries
•    Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project and SAP)
•    Excellent English language skills
