The Global Technical Academy is the central technical training center for the further education and training of service technicians of the Nordex Group worldwide. The Global Technical Academy sets the standards for the training and further education of our service technicians, customers, and subcontractors in over 40 countries. The Global Technical Academy is the interface between product development and knowledge and competence development in the technical field. This ensures that we provide our customers with the best service for the maintenance and installation of our wind turbines. We are looking for a candidate to support our Academy team as Technical Project Manager.

 

YOUR TASKS 

  • Identification of improvement opportunities, development and revision of technical training programs (Learning Journey, Guidelines, and Materials) for service technicians, customers, and subcontractors in the field of wind turbines 

  • Support of the global trainer network of approximately 100 trainers in technical or pedagogical matters, as well as supporting the Head of Function in trainer network management

  • Taking on the role of project manager or consultant in a project with an international environnement and interdisciplinaire interfaces, such as specialist departments, country organizations, trainers, and digital experts 

  • Ensuring compliance with PM structures in the implementation of training development projects 

  • Conducting pilot trainings 

 

YOUR PROFILE 

  • Completed technical education or degree, preferably in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification

  • Experience in developing didactic training programs and the ability to work conceptually

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and understandably

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple parallel projects as a project manager 

  • Advanced English language skills in both written and spoken communication, additional language skills such as Spanish or German are advantageous 

  • Team player with high self-motivation and enthusiasm 

  • Willingness to continuously develop professional and personal skills 

  • Workplace in Hamburg with international travel readiness (currently 20%)
