Team Lead SCADA Software Deployment (m/f/d)

Our team is responsible for commissioning SCADA software, configuring customer interfaces, and providing technical support for operational technology (OT) components across wind farms and turbines. We ensure a smooth and efficient on-site commissioning process. Following successful integration, we support the transition of wind farms into service operations. This enables seamless SCADA data flow from the wind farms to enterprise systems, enhancing customer satisfaction and contributing to Nordex’s long-term success.
YOUR TASKS
- Lead and manage an international team of 8, both technically and disciplinarily
- Oversee the coordination, execution, and operational delivery of SCADA systems and software deployment
- Take ownership of the installation and commissioning of the Nordex OS SCADA Edge and legacy NC SCADA systems, following our value chain process
- Coordinate second-level support for SCADA-related issues in the field
- Contribute to cross-departmental handover to service projects to ensure a smooth transition of SCADA-related topics to the service organization
- Maintain regular communication with the development department to drive continuous improvement of the Nordex OS product
- Provide consistent and structured reporting to senior management
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, with 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in system architecture, backend integration, and software development
- Passionate about people management with first experience in managing a small international team of technical professionals
- Practical experience integrating open-source applications within microservices-based environments and proficient in modern software deployment methodologies
- Minimum one year of experience with Docker, and cloud deployment technologies
- Experience working with InfluxDB and MongoDB databases
- Background in operations or systems administration, especially in Linux environments
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Systematic, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset
- Intercultural competence and ability to work in international teams
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
