As Team Lead Global Sourcing Indirect, you take full ownership of the global indirect procurement function, driving strategy, governance, and performance across multiple categories and regions. You lead an international team of Strategic Buyers, shape sourcing priorities, and ensure alignment with business goals. In this role, you combine leadership, commercial expertise, and strong stakeholder engagement to deliver sustainable value and drive procurement excellence across the organization.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Lead, develop, and scale an international team of Strategic Buyers across multiple countries
  • Define and drive the global category strategy and annual savings plans for indirect procurement
  • Lead the most complex and high-value negotiations and build strategic supplier partnerships
  • Ensure full compliance with sourcing governance, approval processes, and procurement frameworks
  • Reduce maverick spend and increase spend under management across all regions and categories
  • Continuously improve sourcing processes, tools, and frameworks across Source-to-Contract and Supplier Management
  • Act as the key interface to senior stakeholders and present results, risks, and savings initiatives at executive level

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement or global sourcing, including strong exposure to indirect categories
  • Proven leadership experience managing international and cross-functional teams
  • Strong track record in developing category strategies and leading complex negotiations
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions and geographies
  • Solid contract and commercial understanding with the ability to identify and manage risks
  • Fluent English skills; German and/or Spanish are strong advantages, combined with willingness to travel
