As a Sustainability Specialist Climate & Environment, you will support the implementation of Nordex's climate, environmental and sustainability objectives within the global Sustainability team. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will coordinate international reporting processes, analyze environmental performance data and contribute to regulatory sustainability reporting requirements. This role is offered as a parental leave cover and provides the opportunity to contribute to key sustainability initiatives across the Nordex Group. The position is based at our headquarters in Hamburg and will run until the end of February 2028, ideally starting on 1 November 2026.
YOUR TASKS
• Coordinate and manage the annual global environmental reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate data collection across the organization
• Maintain and further develop the environmental reporting platform while supporting and training global reporting contributors
• Validate, analyze and interpret environmental performance data to support sustainability management and decision-making
• As a Sustainability Specialist Climate & Environment, support the monitoring and continuous improvement of climate targets, emission reduction initiatives and the Corporate Carbon Footprint
• Collaborate with sourcing teams to drive climate-related supplier engagement and support emissions reduction activities across the value chain
• Contribute to CSRD and ESRS reporting activities, ESG ratings and the handling of sustainability-related stakeholder requests
• Support the implementation, quarterly monitoring and annual review of climate and environmental stewardship topics within the Nordex Group Sustainability Strategy
YOUR PROFILE
• University degree in Sustainability Management, Business Administration with a focus on sustainability, or a related field
• Professional experience in ESG or sustainability functions, ideally including climate and environmental performance management
• Knowledge of CSRD, ESRS and other relevant sustainability regulations and reporting requirements
• Experience coordinating cross-functional reporting processes within an international business environment
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills combined with a structured and reliable working approach
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities and manage priorities effectively after onboarding
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and fluent German and English language skills, with Spanish considered an advantage
