Engineer (m/w/d) Product Safety - Risk Assessment

We are seeking an experienced Engineer Product Safety - Risk Assessment to join our team and support our product safety efforts. As an Engineer Product Safety - Risk Assessment, you will be responsible for carrying out risk assessments and ensuring that our products meet all relevant safety standards.
YOUR TASKS:
- Responsible for conducting risk assessments according to ISO 12100 within the product development and design process, as well as during the prototype phase (incl. field inspection)
- Support projects with specific requirements in the field of hazard and risk analysis
- Give advise and support to the HSE-department with regard to Wind Turbine rescue plan and residual risk register
- Advise Sales for questions on product safety and communicate directly with customers when necessary

YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent degree
- At least five years of experience with product safety
- Knowledge of European Machinery Directive and harmonized standards such as ISO 12100, ISO 141222, ISO13857
- Experience in the use of Safexpert software
- Knowledge in PDM systems (e.g. Teamcenter and Windchill)
- Knowledge in fire protection desirable
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge in Wind Energy is beneficial
- High level of English & German, Spanish is a plus
