SCADA Requirements Engineer (m/f/d)

As SCADA Requirements Engineer (m/f/d) you will support our WF IIoT Support team in translating operational and engineering needs into clear SCADA requirements and ensuring their consistent implementation. In this role, you contribute to reliable wind farm operations by connecting stakeholder expectations with technical specifications. You collaborate with engineering, SCADA operations and service teams to strengthen system quality and standardization.
YOUR TASKS
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear and implementable technical specifications for SCADA and IIoT systems
- Maintain traceability and proper documentation between requirements, design elements and acceptance criteria across the full engineering workflow
- Prepare, review and validate technical specifications together with engineering and operational departments
- Support cross‑functional teams during the clarification and validation of SCADA requirements and specifications
- Analyze and resolve SCADA‑related incidents in wind farms, coordinating with development and integration teams when required
- Coordinate technical tasks, timelines and dependencies across multiple SCADA‑related projects
- Identify technical risks and impacts and contribute to mitigation planning and follow‑up
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation/Control Engineering, Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- At least three years of relevant experience in requirements engineering with a SCADA focus or similar
- Training or knowledge in Requirements Engineering, Systems Engineering, SCADA systems, industrial automation or OT/IT architectures
- Experience with communication protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus or SQL
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments as well as basic database handling
- Desirable: knowledge of WfM, Python, data‑analysis tools, Agile methods, IT/OT security or Jira/Confluence, Azure DevOps and Siemens Teamcenter
- Fluent in English; German or Spanish are an advantage
