The Project Management Office is part of the central Division Europe Project Management organisation. Its goal is to create transparency throughout the division, facilitate knowledge sharing and creating synergies between projects, and increasing process quality of the Project Managers’ work in order to ultimately secure achievement of department and company goals. We are looking for a Project Planner so as to strengthen our Project Management Office.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Monitor and coordinate a portfolio of projects from tender phase until execution:

    • Implement all projects’ schedules in one common planning tool

    • Track the portfolio’s, but also each individual project’s progress, e.g. by gathering the needed information from all the functions in the company and consolidating it within the schedule

    • Update project schedules with the key dates, events and activities, taking into consideration the respective installation strategy, wind and other conditions

    • Ensure that key project milestones are achieved on time

    • Monitor the critical path and floats of the project with the objective to ensure the fulfilment of plans

    • Manage conflicts on a regional basis. Propose priorities, future scenario and action plans to recover the delays

    • Collaborate with Project Managers, Commercial Project Managers and other stakeholders in order to create the basis for decision-making, change management

    • Collaborate and align with the Division’s Portfolio Coordinator

    • Close collaboration/ alignment with Global PMEPC Planning

    • Migrate plans between different planning tools (e.g. MS project and Primavera), if applicable

  • Continuously improve the planning process and tools:

    • Implement milestones that reflect readiness for the execution of construction sites

    • Review project activities and improve the work breakdown structure

    • Improve regional or divisional resource planning

    • Ensure planning consistency between different projects

    • Identify use cases for the available information; be ambassador for the planning function

    • Provide feedback to Tender Management concerning planning structure, assumptions and rules

    • Develop further KPIs and milestones at the best benefit for the company

    • Elaborate monthly and weekly reports registering progress and critical points


YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in industrial engineering, business administration or suitable alternative discipline

  • Minimum 2-3 years professional experience in the field of project management

  • Knowledge and passion for Planning

  • Experience in the wind power industry is an advantage

  • Excellent English skills, both verbally and written

  • Further language skills (e.g. German, Spanish) are an advantage

  • A good intercultural awareness demonstrated through experience in working in international contexts

  • A good feeling for commercial implications of business decisions; ability to contribute to the creation of business cases

  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Project etc.), as well as planning tools, preferably Primavera and MS Project

  • High comprehension skills and distinct analytical abilities

  • Ability to take initiative and high degree of motivation within dynamic environments

  • Ability to develop ideas and promote them amongst others

  • Strong communication, team-working and problem-solving skills

  • Independent, structured and target-oriented working
