Join our Product Development organization and lead complex development projects focused on wind turbine towers and tower optimization across multiple platform generations. Working closely with external suppliers and cross-functional teams, you will ensure projects are delivered according to quality, budget, and timeline requirements. Your contribution will support the successful development and industrialization of wind turbine tower solutions for global markets.
YOUR TASKS
- Lead and coordinate multiple wind turbine tower development projects while ensuring compliance with budget, timeline, and quality target
- Manage the complete product development process from concept and design through prototyping, testing, certification, and serial production
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful implementation of requirements
- Coordinate prototype testing, validation, and certification activities to verify compliance with technical and regulatory standards
- Align project scope, milestones, and schedules with other Project Managers and the Platform Lifecycle Management organization
- Act as the key interface for stakeholders across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, and other global functions
- Identify project risks, define mitigation actions, and provide transparent progress reporting throughout the project lifecycle
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience managing complex technical development projects, ideally within the wind energy industry
- Proven experience in project management; a Project Management certification is preferred
- Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, tower systems, or comparable large-scale industrial products
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project Server; experience with ERP and PLM systems is advantageous
- Fluent English communication skills; German and Spanish language skills are considered beneficial
- Structured and solution-oriented working style with strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
