DEPARTMENT:  Logistics / Material Management

As part of Global PM/EPC Logistics & Material Management, the Global Logistics Strategy & Tendering department is responsible to identify and implement new technologies, new strategies, and improvement projects along the transport chain during the installation phase of our windfarms. We ensure adequate logistics budgets, as well as create and establish best in class processes and support the Tooling and Execution teams on tactical and strategic initiatives.

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Identify, plan and implement critical improvement ideas and projects along the Global Logistics & Material Management scope and beyond
  • Support global roll-out of logistics processes, harmonize processes between countries and regions and ensure best-practices along the transport chain
  • Adapt logistics tools and processes to a global approach
  • Develop new ways of transporting, invent new logistics strategies and lead their implementation
  • Create business cases and perform analysis of value-adding projects and requirements
  • Foster digitalization of logistics processes
  • Strategic Logistics Tooling Management
  • Liaising with other departments like Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Service and country organizations to evaluate the impact or possible usage of improvement projects in other Nordex business areas

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or comparable education
  • 3+ years of work experience in the field of Logistics, Supply Chain and / or Project Management
  • Proven skills/knowledge in the international Logistics market and transport technologies
  • Ability to drive projects autonomously, keeping deadlines and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Process driven and eager to harmonize processes
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German and Spanish are a plus
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Agility to move between strategic and tactical projects and initiatives
  • High intrinsic motivation to make our world a better place
