Project Engineer (Series Optimization)

We are looking for a Project Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Operational Engineering team with immediate effect. Operational Engineering is responsible for all challenges and optimizations that arise during the entire value chain of the turbine and where engineering support is required.
YOUR TASKS:
- Collaboration in the further development of wind turbines
- Independent processing of various projects to optimize our technical systems
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary projects
- Creation of reports and presentations (focus on 8D method)
- Independent preparation of analyses and evaluations
- Independent follow-up of packages of measures from different projects
- Communication of project content within various Nordex divisions as well as with customers and suppliers
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed a university degree in engineering, or comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in an international industrial environment, preferably in the wind industry
- Experience in Project Management (8D Method)
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, diplomatic skills, convincing demeanor
- Technical overview of the entire turbine
- Strong improvisation skills with an ‘end to end’ mindset
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel for business purposes (30% out of office)
