Network Engineer (m/f/d)

DEPARTMENT:  Engineering



  • Design the wind farm network concept and the remote connection taking into account the IT-OT Security requirements.
  • Implementation of security tools and infrastructure related to site-to-site remote access.
  • Provide third-level troubleshooting of systems and isolate the source of failure.
  • Coordinate with a cross-functional team to provide remote network connectivity solutions.




  • Degree in Telecommunications or Computing or Science Engineering (Information Technology) with high knowledge in networks.
  • Advanced knowledge in network design and implementation with Routers, Switches, Load balancers, Firewalls.
  • Deep knowledge of security protocols and devices such as stateful firewall, IPS, VPN, IPSec, SSL/TLS as well as L2 security.
  • Deep understanding of operating systems like Linux and Windows.
  • Experience in network monitoring and tools like PowerShell.
  • Agile mindset and solution driven way of thinking.
  • English (very good written and spoken). Ideally skills in Spanish and German.
  • Independent, reliable and systematic/structured way of working. Strong communication and team skills paired with intercultural competence.
