Mechanical Service Engineer (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS:

• You are part of an international team of technical experts within service engineering working in various locations 

• You develop solutions to technical questions relating to the mechanical drive train of wind turbines 

• You are the central contact point between the local service organizations and construction teams, as well as quality assurance and product development 

• You initiate and coordinate root cause analyses and use your specialist knowledge to support the development of sustainable corrective measures 

• You assert claims against third parties and develop commercial solutions in close cooperation with the respective local service organization, purchasing and the legal department 

• You improve standards and processes and ensure permanent knowledge transfer between the relevant departments and locations 

• You take responsibility for mechanical components, monitor their condition and identify potential quality deviations 

YOUR PROFILE:

• You have successfully completed a technical degree (mechanical engineering or comparable) 

• You have knowledge about root cause analyses and the sustainable elimination of systematic errors (e.g. in the application of the 8D methodology) 

• Preferably you already have many years of experience in dealing with mechanical assemblies, ideally planetary gears (e.g. design and development, production or quality assurance) 

• You speak very good business English and preferably have good to very good knowledge of German 

• You have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, ideally you already have experience using Microsoft PowerBI or SQL databases 

• You are results-oriented, highly analytical, consistent and dynamic 

• You are a team player and are willing to travel occasionally (willingness to travel approx. 10%)
