YOUR TASKS

  • Initiate and update project shipping plans and vessels operations as part of the overall Project Logistics planning
  • Close collaboration with Sourcing in RFQ preparation, supplier selection and performance review
  • Participation in the Hand Over from Tender Phase to Operations
  • Manage project budget related to the Logistics from PickUp to Port Arrival including but not limited to cost control and forecasting activities
  • Continuous contact with PM´s and regional Logistics Manager to coordinate the deliveries
  • Risk and Opportunities management [to be shared between Sourcing and Operations in case applicable across projects]
  • Ensure readiness of transport execution e.g., cargo and tooling availability

 

YOUR PROFIL

  • University graduated (Logistics or maritime cargo is a plus)
  • High experience in international trade and/or experienced as vessel operator, customs management, knowledge of ERP, cost control, planning and logistics management
  • Extensive knowledge of material logistics and export merchandise traffic 
  • Fluent English level, other languages are valued (German)
  • At least 3 years in a logistics management position. Preferable international shipments (maritime)
