YOUR TASKS

We are looking for someone who possesses a sharp intellect and a natural curiosity, with a passion for the renewable energy industry. The role demands a keen eye for detail in both analysis and communication, and requires the ability to work diligently and independently on clearly defined topics.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Work independently on ad-hoc tasks or special projects for the Management Board (e.g. related to M&A, Corporate Finance or JV topics)
  • Drive strategic analyses and projects, coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
  • Manage corporate strategy development process
    • Jointly with senior management define focus of strategy process and responsibilities of supporting functions
    • Align strategy process with budget process (if required)
  • Cooperate closely with internal and external partners, in particular with Investor Relations, Corporate Communication and Public Affairs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare Supervisory Board meetings, including committee discussions on strategy and technology
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments related to strategic initiatives and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress of strategic initiatives.
  • Scenario Planning: Perform scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Innovation and Trends Analysis: Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and innovations that could impact the company's strategic direction.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development

YOUR PROFILE

  • University bachelor or master’s degree with excellent marks
  • Several years of working experience as assistant to C-level manager, in a corporate development/ strategy department, in a top tier consulting firm or proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and analysis within a corporate setting
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to work independently on complex tasks
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in preparing materials for high-level meetings
  • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, driving projects to completion
  • Knowledge of the industry's market trends, competitive landscape, and strategic business drivers
  • Adept at building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Professional knowledge in PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Fluency in English; Spanish and/or German would be an asset
