As a Logistics Systems Expert, you play a key role in transforming logistics process improvements into sustainable systems, tools, and decision frameworks. Within the Logistics – Region Central team, you work closely with the Logistics Process Manager to ensure that improvements are standardized, measurable, and scalable. Your work enables data‑driven decision‑making and supports reliable, efficient logistics operations across projects.
YOUR TASKS
- You translate validated logistics process improvements into standardized tools, KPIs, planning logic, and automation to ensure consistency and long‑term sustainability
- You embed improvements into systems and workflows, ensuring they are repeatable, auditable, and independent of individual execution
- You collaborate closely with the Logistics Process Manager to support continuous improvement cycles through data transparency, structured measurement frameworks, and practical tooling
- You design and maintain logistics planning logic across vessels, ports, and project flows, translating operational complexity into clear decision rules
- You develop prioritization frameworks that reflect agreed improvement hierarchies such as waste reduction, cost efficiency, constraints, and top‑down decisions
- You build and maintain analytics and planning tools using Excel, Power BI, Power Platform or similar technologies, ensuring usability, maintainability, and proper documentation
- You create dashboards and automated workflows that enable fact‑based, decision‑ready insights for stakeholders
- You contribute to identifying system limitations and support the design of long‑term logistics solutions, including advanced analytics or AI‑based approaches where relevant
- You ensure governance, transparency, and traceability by documenting planning logic, assumptions, and methodologies, and acting as an interface to Project Support Office functions
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and systems‑thinking skills with the ability to translate process improvements into structured system solutions
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and BI tools such as Power BI; experience with automation platforms (e.g. Power Platform) is an advantage
- Experience in logistics, supply chain systems, process engineering, or logistics analytics
- Structured, pragmatic working style with a focus on sustainable and scalable solutions rather than short‑term optimization
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in cross‑functional environments
- Fluent English language skills; German is an advantage
