As a Hazardous Materials Manager:, you ensure the safe and compliant use of hazardous materials across the organization. You support engineering teams, sourcing teams and HSE colleagues worldwide and help strengthen standards and preventive measures. Your work contributes to safe operations in manufacturing, construction and service environments.
YOUR TASKS
- Manage global hazardous materials management tools and processes to ensure evaluation before material use
- Coordinate improvement projects related to hazardous materials and dangerous goods
- Create and update datasets, operating instructions and training materials for hazardous materials
- Support engineer:s on hazardous material topics in product design and industrialization projects
- Advise on regulations such as REACH, OSHA and ADR for labeling, transport, handling, storage and disposal
- Monitor regulatory changes, communicate updates and ensure compliance across the organization
- Ensure internal audit schedules include hazardous material topics and support internal and external audits
- Prepare reports on hazardous material usage according to legislative requirements
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in engineering or a comparable technical field with HSE advisor: training or equivalent
- Additional environmental qualification is an advantage
- High level of English (working language)
- At least two years of experience as hazardous materials or dangerous goods advisor: is desirable
- Strong IT, communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to work effectively in teams and in intercultural environments
- Logical and data‑driven approach to problem‑solving
- Willingness to travel 15–30 percent
