We are seeking an experienced and passionate HSE Manager Engineering (m/f/d) to join our team in the Renewables & Environment industry. As a leader in sustainable energy solutions, we are committed to creating a greener and more sustainable future. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and implementing health, safety, and environmental topics across our product development processes.

 

To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in HSE compliance in an engineering environment and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. You will play a vital role in promoting a strong safety culture that values the wellbeing of every employee within our Engineering team.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Own HSE tasks within product development processes as core team member in wind turbine product development projects
  • Participate in regular project meetings and provide concise reporting on project HSE statuses and issues
  • Ensure information on HSE risks is provided for project gate reviews
  • Co-ordinate input on HSE topics from business HSE teams and mentor other HSE team members on product development processes and requirements
  • Ensure learning from construction and service activities is incorporated into new product design
  • Ensure HSE related product documentation is prepared on time
  • Identify improvements in the HSE processes and measures

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in Engineering or related field and proven experience as an HSE Manager in engineering projects
  • Expertise in occupational risks prevention, design risk assessments, planning preventive activities
  • Experience in development and implementation of HSE processes, procedures and best practices
  • Work experience in the wind industry or a comparable industry (manufacturing/product development) with its HSE requirements desirable
  • Professional certifications in health, safety, and environmental management and experience in project management (desirable)
  • Strong communication and group facilitation skill combined with analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills with resilient approach and confident when dealing with challenging individuals
  • Self-initiative and independent work, assumption of responsibility
  • Good written and spoken English is required
