We are currently seeking an HSE Coordinator (m/f/d) to promote the HSE culture and foster good practices and safe behaviours in manufacturing plants worldwide. This includes developing action plans, preventive measures and driving the implementation of Nordex Group HSE standards and the management system.

 

The Nordex HSE Coordinator (m/f/d) could be based in Hamburg or Rostock in Germany or in La Vall d’Uixó or Barasoain or Lumbier or Tajonar in Spain. 

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Maintaining the HSE management system, standards and processes, ensuring alignment with Corporate HSE and with plant HSE teams
  • Defining HSE standards and requirements for third party manufacturers
  • Supporting functional management on HSE issues and communication sharing
  • Co-ordinating HSE activities across all manufacturing plants to improve safety culture
  • Supporting engineering teams on new product design and industrialization projects and developments
  • Performing specialist HSE tasks such as hazardous material evaluation
  • Drive diverse HSE improvement and optimisation projects within manufacturing, coordinating with headquarter teams and plant teams. Represent the manufacturing organisation in global improvement projects
  • Leading the data collection methods for manufacturing plants regarding HSE parameters and reports, including data required for Sustainability reporting
  • Audit plants to evaluate the implementation of the HSE management system

  

YOUR PROFILE: 

  • University degree (Engineering or similar technical degree) with Health and Safety Advisor Training 
  • Additional environmental qualification desirable
  • Desirable at least 2 years of experience in the role of Health, Safety and Environment specialist in a manufacturing environment
  • High English Level (working language)
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Good intercultural awareness
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Logical thinker who relies on data for decision making
