We are looking for a highly motivated Group Lead Grid Code Testing (m/f/d) who will be a member of our department Windfarm Control Operations within Global Project Management. 

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Leading a global team of Grid Code Test Engineers (functional and partly disciplinary leadership).
  • Having the mentality of a responsible engineer for Grid Code Compliance for Wind Farm projects, you and your team will perform, evaluate and document Grid Code compliance tests and analyse test data.
  • Support the Grid Code compliance and Grid connection within sales and project phase.
  • Having a clear picture and deep understanding of the capabilities of the Nordex products to be able to rate Grid Code compliance.
  • Optimise the processes within Grid Code compliance and review and support the development of internal product specifications for Grid Code compliance.
  • Regular contact and communication to the clients' experts to elaborate project-specific testing and solutions.
  • Gain experiences of windfarm controller projects

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or other equivalent technical education
  • First experience in leading a team of engineers, experience in Gride Code Testing with Wind Farm projects and experience with test cases in Grid Code Testing Procedures ideally. 
  • Good knowledge of Grid Code compliance on power plant level and software details to archive this. Ideally due to experience with a wind turbine OEM or similar.
  • Experience with data analysis, tools and automation are valuable.
  • Intercultural understanding and you thrive on working collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
  • Fluent in English spoken and written. Spanish and/or German is a plus.
  • Very good communication skills, strong planning- and organizational skills, you are proactive, assertive and a team player.
  • Willingness to go on business trips (5-10%)
