Global Logistics Tender Manager (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Logistics Tender Manager (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive transportation concepts, planning, and budgeting for the logistics scope of our sales offers, specifically for wind farm projects. You will play a critical role in tendering, logistics strategy, cost calculations and risk management, ensuring the successful execution of logistics operations from factory to site.

YOUR TASKS:

• Logistics Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive logistics strategy concepts to optimize the transportation and logistics processes for wind farm projects
• Transportation Planning & Budgeting: Evolution of detailed transportation plans and budgets for the logistics scope of sales offers
• Tender Preparation: Creation of accurate cost calculations for the logistics of major components, minor materials, and tools required for wind farm projects
• Risk Management: Understand the scope of works, identify potential risks and opportunities, and actively participate in the internal sales project review process to implement effective risk mitigation measures
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Liaise with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales and Legal departments during the tendering phase to ensure all aspects of the project are considered and integrated
• Cost Tracking & Database Management: Consolidate, track, and update the cost database with lessons learned from previous operations to improve future project accuracy and efficiency
• Global Coordination: Communication between the regional teams and the head office to ensure consistent communication
• Documentation Improvement: Assist in the continuous improvement of tender and execution technical documents for logistics, enhancing the overall quality and clarity of project documentation

YOUR PROFILE:

• Educational Background: Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management/Logistics, alternatively, comparable professional training and/or extensive experience
• Industry Knowledge: Good knowledge of wind turbine and/or project logistics as well as good experience and/or knowledge of port operations 
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management
• International Experience: Experience working in an international matrix organization

• Language Skills: Business fluent in English. Proficiency in Spanish and/or German is a plus

• Further Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
