YOUR TASKS
- Developing operational time schedules from manufacturing plant to arrival at port of destination
- Analyzing all aspects of logistics supply chain to determine most cost-effective and efficient means of work
- Preparing different scenario planning to evaluate potential options
- Analyzing the schedule variance, risks and opportunities to be taken into consideration
- Providing mitigation plans if required
- Maintaining the accuracy of project plans according to the installation dates of each project
- Preparing and presenting data to strengthen the decision-making process
- Coordinating with Global Logistics team to resolve problems
- Supporting the project team with inputs from the projects
- Providing feedback to the line organization on lessons learnt
YOUR PROFILE
- At least 3-5 years of Logistics experience in a similar environment
- A relevant degree or qualification in Supply Chain & Logistics is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and a supply chain understanding is a pre requisite
- Good ERP systems knowledge (SAP and JD Edwards experience would be an advantage) and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related area preferred
