Global Documentation Manager (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Documentation Manager to join our Service team. The position will be responsible for managing the creation, maintenance, and distribution of all Service-related documentation across our global organization and also maintain the proposed document management system. This includes technical manuals, user guides, training materials, legal documents and other documentation at wind farm level required to support our Service operations.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Develop and implement a global documentation strategy for Service that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Manage the creation, review, and approval of all Service-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Service, Engineering, and Product Management etc to gather information and ensure documentation meets the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage the distribution of documentation to internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain a document management system that enables efficient storage, retrieval, and sharing of documentation.
  • Provide training and support to Service teams on the use of documentation and document management tools.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the quality and effectiveness of Service documentation.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in technical writing or documentation management
  • Good project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience with document management systems and tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 9001 and 13485.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, German or Spanish is a plus
