Join our finance team as an experienced Accountant (m/f/d) and help shape the future of our growing company. We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a hands-on mindset and passion for collaboration.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial records in accordance with HGB (German Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring the company's financial practices remain compliant.
  • Ensure invoices are posted correctly and on time, and check that payment terms with our suppliers are met.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders, including management, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and financial goal-setting.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on HGB and IFRS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confident in working with MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
  • Structured, detail-oriented and analytical working style.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and proactive attitude.
  • Comfortable working with deadlines in a dynamic project environment.
  • Fluent in English - German is a plus.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
