Finance Manager (m/f/d) Region Central

YOUR TASKS

  • Preparation of financial statements for the Central region (currently Germany, the Netherlands and Austria) applying local GAAP and the policies of the Nordex Group. 
  • Prepare monthly IFRS reporting packages for group reporting.  
  • Preparation of the annual tax return and monthly VAT reports, including its submissions. 
  • Providing tax and statistical reporting to statutory authorities, including Nordex Group when required.  
  • Preparation of profit center analysis, budget and forecasts. 
  • Coordinate payment process. 
  • Debtors reporting and aged debt profiling each month; oversee the dunning process and follow up on overdue amounts. 
  • Support Nordex Treasury department with any treasury matters, incl cash forecasts. 
  • Collaboration on special projects 
  • Contact person for auditors and external professional advisors as required (e.g. external consultants, tax advisors, lawyers etc.). 
  • Provide guidance and support to the operations staff relevant to the finance accounting processes and procedures. 

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Educational background in Business, Economics, or Finance. 
  • Excellent analytical ability, with a feel for numbers and strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.  
  • Ability to operate, influence and counsel at the senior level within the function and to business clients.  
  • Highly motivated, business oriented and used to work independently within a matrix-based organization. 
  • Knowledge of SAP (S4H or ECC) or comparable ERP system. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Good Excel skills and knowledge in MS-Office. Three years of working experience in Accounting or related area 
  • Experience in working in a multinational matrix organization 
  • Experience in working for the construction industry and accounting for WIP on long term projects is preferred.
