Field Support - Technical Expert (m/f/d)

As a Field Support Technical Expert, you will support the installation, finishing, and commissioning of wind turbines while helping to resolve technical challenges in the field. Working closely with site teams and project stakeholders, you will provide mechanical expertise and technical support to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. You will play a key role in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintaining operational excellence across wind energy projects.

 

YOUR TASKS

• Provide mechanical technical support during the installation, finishing, and commissioning phases of wind turbine projects

• Analyze technical deviations and mechanical issues and develop effective corrective actions to support project completion

• Manage and resolve technical support requests raised from construction and commissioning sites

• Perform troubleshooting activities and support repair work on mechanical systems and components

• Document findings, technical solutions, and corrective actions while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve field support processes and technical performance

 

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed vocational training in Mechanics, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field
• Relevant experience working with wind turbines or related industrial systems
• Proven experience in maintenance, service, supervision, commissioning, or technical field support roles
• Technical understanding and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment
• Experience with crane operations as well as lifting, rigging, and mechanical installation activities in industrial environments
• Good communication skills in English, German language skills are an advantage
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and operate in an international project environment with occasional travel requirements
