DEPARTMENT:  Production

MISSION: As Factories Coordination Manager, you will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supervising the production and transportation of finished goods.
Visits manufacturing plants on a regular basis, checking on production levels and identifying potential problems. Plan production schedules, assign work, and act as an intermediary between factory workers and manufacturers. Will also be responsible for preparing production reports.

 

TASKS:

  • Coordination of the concrete keystone production plan, so the company´s scheduled plan could be achieved.
  • Coordinate actions between Nordex construction department and Concrete Tower Business Unit suppliers.
  • Coordinate and supervise the responsibles assigned to each factories in operation worldwide.
  • Development of layouts, equipment and mechanical means, definition of schedules, organizational charts, human teams and shifts, for the correct development of the project according to deadlines and budget.
  • Organization of the implementation of the factory and everything related and necessary to the operation of the same, such as accommodation, travel, selection of personnel, food, transport ...
  • Coordination of a team of "global" technical staff and its organization to meet the operation and needs of the different projects in progress. Management and control of travel accommodations, etc. of this global team.
  • Coordination and monitoring of all areas involved in the operation of the factory: production, quality, supply chain, purchasing, HR ...
  • Supervision of the selection of subcontractors and purchases of any kind.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of production operations.
  • Control and coordinate all production processes.
  • Verify that production standards are met.
  • Ensure that employees comply with all safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental requirements.
  • Indicate any areas that need improvement to management.
  • Assist in regularly reviewing and updating production design, equipment, and production techniques.
  • Oversee all quality control measures.
  • Monitoring of the implementation of the corrective measures indicated in the Nonconformities.
  • Coordination and collaboration with the quality and purchasing department in the development of tests and trials of materials aimed at any improvement.
  • Monitoring and implementation of changes received from the Department of Engineering, Industrialization or Quality
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced production.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules, inventories, and shipping requirements.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Civil engineering - B.C.E. or business administration studies.
  • Leadership profile.
  • Inventory management and control.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to change.
  • Availability to travel. 
  • Communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience as factory coordinator.
  • Previous experience in renewable energy sector.
  • Experience and knowledge in production systems.
  • English is a must. B2 certificate minimum.
