FMEA Moderator (m/f/d)

The Advanced Quality Engineering team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards during the introduction of our latest products. We are looking for an experienced FMEA professional to support our cross-functional quality activities and drive the application of FMEA across the organization.

YOUR TASKS

  • Take a leading role in the cross-functional deployment of the FMEA methodology in line with industry standards
  • Enable robust products and manufacturing processes by identifying, eliminating, and controlling critical failure modes
  • Facilitate FMEA workshops and act as a cross-functional mentor
  • Support the application of Design FMEA (D-FMEA) and Process FMEA (P-FMEA) throughout product development
  • Drive the continuous improvement of product development and related processes
  • Contribute to quality initiatives with visibility across the organization

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Design Engineer, Process Engineer, or in a comparable role within automotive, aerospace, medical, or similar industries
  • Strong experience applying Process FMEA (P-FMEA) and/or Design FMEA (D-FMEA) according to APQP, AIAG/VDA, or comparable standards
  • Knowledge of related quality methods and tools such as Boundary Diagrams, P-Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Validation Plans, MSA, and SPC
  • Experience with FMEA software such as APIS, PLATO, or similar tools, as well as statistical software such as Minitab or JMP
  • Structured and organized team player with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Fluent English skills are required; German language skills are an advantage
