ESG Specialist (m/f/d) - Parental leave cover

As an ESG Specialist (m/f/d), you contribute to the consistent implementation and further development of the Nordex Group’s sustainability strategy. Working closely with the Head of Sustainability, you ensure effective monitoring, governance, and communication of key ESG topics. This role is a parental leave cover until March 2028, with a planned start in September 2026.
YOUR TASKS
- You drive the implementation, quarterly monitoring, and annual review of the sustainability strategy and coordinate ESG-related activities across the organization
- You support the development and implementation of sustainability governance structures, including roles, processes, and organizational formats
- You manage and further develop external sustainability communication formats such as website content and e-learning tools
- You monitor regulatory developments such as the EmpCo Directive and assess their business implications
- You support sustainability reporting processes and contribute to ESG ratings
- You maintain and continuously improve sustainability-related documentation
- You prepare and support meetings and workshops in the ESG / sustainability management context
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in sustainability management, business administration with a focus on sustainability, or equivalent
- Initial professional experience in ESG or sustainability topics, ideally in sustainability strategy implementation or project management
- Good understanding of ESG topics and relevant regulatory frameworks, especially CSRD/ESRS
- Ability to work independently and take ownership after a short onboarding phase
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to structure topics and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders across functions
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and fluent German and English skills; Spanish is a plus
