An exciting role at the interface between tax law and the IT system and process world.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Coordinate, manage and support the strategic development and implementation of new tools and IT solutions in the tax & customs function (e.g., AI solutions, internal robotics solutions) to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Proactively engage in process improvement projects within the Tax & Customs function, identify opportunities for digitalization, standardization, and automation (e.g. SAP 4/HANA implementation, e-invoicing)
  • Manage internal and external communication with relevant stakeholders in the field of digitization; strengthen and develop partnerships with IT, operational business functions and other support functions (e.g., procurement, accounting, sales) on behalf of the tax function.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in tax and customs digitalization and automation through continuously monitoring industry trends, new fiscal requirements and emerging technologies
  • Develop and conduct internal trainings.

 YOUR PROFILE

  • University Degree in business process management, digital transformation or data science with a focus on (international) taxation or accounting or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience gained in an inhouse tax or digital transformation function or an international consulting firm
  • Good knowledge in tax & customs processes; good knowledge in business process modelling is a plus
  • Interest in understanding evolving tax & customs requirements and ability to assess their implications within an increasingly digitized organization
  • Experience in project management of IT projects
  • Analytical mind-set and an independent and conscientious way of working
  • Affinity to developments in digitalization and automation
  • Ability to monitor and adapt to evolving organizational requirements
  • Proficient user of ERP systems such as SAP 
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft solutions including MS Office and the MS Power Platform
  • Excellent language skills in English and German; Spanish is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to discuss complex IT and tax issues with non-experts
