As a Data Analytics & Control Engineer Wind Turbine Control (m/f/d), you will be part of our Wind Turbine Control Development Team, working at the intersection of data analysis and software development. Your primary focus will be analyzing field data, deriving data-driven optimizations, and contributing to the development and quality assurance of our wind turbine software. By leveraging your expertise in data analysis, control systems, and interdisciplinary collaboration, you will play a vital role in enhancing the performance and reliability of our wind turbines.

 

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Analyze field data (e.g., fault rates, root causes) and derive technical measures.

  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to create reports and evaluations.

  • Develop data-driven solutions to optimize wind turbine software.

  • Contribute to the development and adaptation of wind turbine software.

  • Conduct and evaluate field tests, including preparing the corresponding documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards in wind turbine software.

  • Work closely with core development teams, testing teams, and data analytics specialists.

  • Define technical requirements and propose improvements.

  • Support the implementation of findings into control software and test phases.

 

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable technical field.

  • Experience with PLC programming (IEC 61131), data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel), and industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Modbus).

  • Background in control systems, quality assurance, or data analysis, preferably in the energy or automation industry.

  • Testing Expertise: Familiarity with HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing methods and field test environments.

  • Strong analytical and abstract thinking abilities.

  • Structured, self-reliant, and results-driven work style.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
    High attention to quality and detaill.

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written); knowledge of German and/or Spanish is a plus.
