Contract & Claim Manager (m/f/d)

  • You will manage the processing of complex warranty and damage claims on a global level across all divisions and be responsible for enforcing these against respective claim defendants. In doing so, you will ensure that the legal, technical and business interests of the company associated with the enforcement of claims are properly safeguarded.
  • You prepare upcoming claim negotiations with claim defendants and conduct them on your own responsibility.
  • You will also be responsible for internal and external communication at all hierarchical levels, in particular with the respective opposing party.
  • An additional part of your work is the review, analysis and evaluation of existing contracts, both with regard to ongoing claim processing and with regard to sustainable optimisation of the contracts.
  • Furthermore, you will prepare decision papers, reports and analyses and present them to the respective addressees within the company with regard to the intended purpose.
  • You will also develop processes and improvement measures in Contract & Claim Management and implement them, taking into account the company's internal interfaces and relevant stakeholders.


  • You have a successfully completed degree in economics, law or technology or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in the area of contract and/or claim management is desirable, but not a necessary prerequisite. However, you should have a certain degree of contract law know-how.
  • Ideally, you have already conducted negotiations with national and international business partners in the past.
  • You are proficient in common MS Office applications, SAP knowledge is an advantage.
  • Due to our global footprint, a business fluent command of both German and English is important.
  • You are characterised by strong negotiating skills and assertiveness. You also have a high level of communicative and intercultural competence.
  • Your strong project management skills enable you to follow up on claims in a targeted manner and to keep track of the current processing status and necessary measures at all times. Your analytical and structured approach ensures a successful conclusion of the handled claims.
