We are seeking a Balance of Plant (BOP) Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) to produce electrical layouts for new wind farm projects as part of our global PM/EPC organization.
YOUR TASKS
- Working as electrical engineer for Balance of plant (BOP) projects, full EPC
- Designing the medium voltage collector system (underground and overhead) and substations
- Creating electrical layouts for high voltage systems, interconnections and the grid connection of the wind farm in AutoCad and/or DigSilent PowerFactory
- Provide technical support to customers and to the project team during sales and construction phase
- Focus on value engineering principles
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, ideally with a focus on power systems engineering
- Minimum of +1 year of previous experience in wind farm Balance of Plant
- Have demonstrable experience in producing electrical layout drawings for substations, switchrooms, control rooms and balance of plant projects
- Advanced skills of AutoCAD as well as DigSilent PowerFactory
- Working knowledge of Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Advanced English language skills. Knowledge of Spanish and/or German is beneficial
