Accountant Global Technical Academy (m/f/d)

The Global Technical Academy develops, coordinates, and conducts technical training for the Nordex Group wind turbines. Here, service technicians, customers, and subcontractors are trained. Responsible for creating invoices for our national and international customers and subcontractors, we work closely with the accounting department and other departments of the company. Support us with the following tasks: 

YOUR TASKS 

• Preparing invoices, managing receivables and monitoring incoming payments 

• Main contact for accounting issues within and outside the Academy, providing support and advice on accounting matters. 

• Ongoing maintenance and administration of master data to ensure accuracy and up-to-date customer information and administrative processes. 

• Collect and analyse relevant data to support sales and customer service. 

• Contribute to ongoing projects, including collaboration with other departments  

• Support the introduction of new processes and process changes and the implementation of new workflows. 

• Provide analysis and reporting to support decision making 

YOUR PROFILE 

• Qualification as an accountant (m/f/d) or commercial training, career changers from other professions with an aptitude and good numerical understanding are also welcome 

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Excel 

• SAP FI knowledge is an advantage 

• Very good English skills, both written and spoken (German is a plus) 

• IT, Tool and process affinity 

• High degree of self-responsibility 

• Strong communication skills, willingness to perform, and ability to work in a team 

• Willingness to travel
