(Senior) Engineer (m/f/d) Mechanical Pitch & Yaw

YOUR TASKS:

• Support Nordex service in fleet assessments for pitch & yaw components

• Analysis of the operation performance of the pitch & yaw systems

• Investigation, development and implementation of potential improvements for the reliability of the pitch & yaw systems in coordination with System Leads and Component Responsible

• Development of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) in coordination with other Engineering Departments and Service Department

• Techno-commercial evaluation of improvement measures

• Managing technical projects related to reliability, quality or costs

• Support to DFMEA development and of quality assurance

YOUR PROFILE:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable university degree

• 5+ years in the wind turbine sector, specifically with pitch and yaw systems

• Knowledge and experience about pitch and yaw systems: bearing, gears, lubrication

• Knowledge in quality assurance methodologies preferred

• Good communication skills

• Comfortable to work in multi-national, multi-cultural teams

• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.

• Ability to manage projects and to work as a team with good analytical skills. and the flexibility and dynamism in the execution of tasks 

• Fluent English, ideally skills in German and/or Spanish
