(Senior) Engineer (m/f/d) Load Calculation Field Support

We are looking for a senior engineer in load calculation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting any load-related tasks to service the serial turbines with concrete and Hybrid tower technologies and ensure optimal service throughout their lifespan.
YOUR TASKS:
- Supporting root cause analysis for any general field issue
- Actively searching for applicable solutions in a short term and cost-effective way
- Performing related load calculations for site-specific conditions
- Documenting results and their assessment in technical reports
- Supporting during the certification or claims related tasks
- Optimizing controller functions as well as supporting in the different components design in a multidisciplinary team
- Project work according to Nordex project management system
- Supporting the continuous development and improvement of the toolchain and methodologies based on the feedback provided by on field situations
YOUR PROFILE:
- M. Sc. or equivalent in Mechanical engineering/physics or similar with specialization dynamics and simulation
- 5 years of experience in similar roles/functions
- Knowledge of recognized standards such as IEC 61400 and DIBt
- Professional experience with aerodynamic simulation tools such as Bladed, Alaska, HawcStab, Flex5
- Good knowledge of dynamic simulations of complex systems in an industrial application as well as for fatigue analysis methodologies, focused on field supporting topics like troubleshooting issues on field, analysis of complex phenomena, etc.
- Optionally additional skills on general analysis software (MATLAB, R…), structural mechanics, usage of automatization tools and knowledge about tower structural calculation (steel and concrete) preferable
- Good team player and very good interpersonal skills, strong communicator
- Flexibility and dynamism in the execution of tasks
- Fluent English. Ideally skills in German or Spanish
