Service Technician (m/f/d)

You are working together as part of the Service Operations Team, reporting to the Local Operations Manager and are responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance of turbines with a high safety standard. You would work closely with the operational and Backoffice team to ensure a high level of availability in the windfarm which enables high service standards for our customers and promote future company growth.

YOUR TASKS

• Responsible for maintenance, repair, and operation of wind turbines.​
• Perform preventive maintenance and other routine tasks
• Troubleshoots and repairs systems and equipment of the turbine under guidance
• Report daily activities, snags and maintenance tasks in accordance with internal requirements including booking of materials​
• Maintain a high standard of the Service point, tools, service vans and local stock​
• Participate in field training and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues within the team​

YOUR PROFILE

• Vocational training in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic fields as well as GWO certification (Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling)
• 0-2 years of experience in the wind industry or similar field
• Ability to work at heights/in remote locations as well as physical capability of fulfilling the role is a must
• Teamwork and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Basic IT competency and basic understanding of wind turbine components
