YOUR TASKS

• Provide 1st level technical support for electrical troubleshooting on wind turbines (One or more of: Converter, Generator, Switch cabinet, Transformer)
• Work within Nordex ticket system ServiceNow to prioritize and solve technical issues
• Establish direct collaboration with Electrical Service Engineering in Headquarter
• Solve issues remotely or propose on-site actions to local staff
• Support identification of affected parts by use of SAP
• Join service technicians in wind turbines for hands-on support with troubleshooting or repairs
• Spend at least 50% of time into turbines/sub-stations, locally or in other regions.
• Handle wind turbine alarms and preventive maintenance tickets
• Act as internal interface between local technical staff and global headquarter departments (technical competence centers)
• Escalate blocking points and high priority tickets
• Identify performance improvement measures
• Support solution database and technical knowledge articles
• Review process descriptions and work instructions
• Occasional trips in the home country and abroad are to be expected

YOUR PROFILE

• Professional education in electro, power electronic or mechanical sector
• Proven experience in installation, maintenance or service of converter systems
• Background in wind energy is an advantage but not a must
• A very good general technical understanding is required
• Fluent English spoken and written is a must
• Very high level of service orientation
• Willingness to work in wind turbines on a regular basis
