Contract Type: Permanent
Location: This role can be based at either our UK Head office in Didsbury, Manchester or at our Ireland Head Office in Oola, Co Limerick.

How can you make a difference?
Reporting to the Head of Service Sales, the Service Sales Manager is responsible to negotiating favorable terms and conditions on long term service agreements, while supporting the new sales team to secure orders for new wind turbines across the UK & Ireland region.
What will you be doing?
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Negotiation and closing of new Service agreements during the course of new Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) sales including presentation of the services offered by Nordex
- Engagement in contract amendments and re-negotiation to accommodate changes as well as contract renewals after initial contract phase ends.
- Preparation and management of tender documentation
- Gathering customer requirements
- Preparation of pricing and terms and conditions strategy
- Providing SMA gate presentation and support during presentation, prep management for gate review / Handover contract details from Service Sales to Operations, also in case of amendments / Support creation and updates of Service Sales Template and guidelines / Maintain knowledge database (for tenders)
- Analysing customer needs, market trends, and competition and providing insights to the organisation
- Following internal approvals process including risk review, KYC process and project summary, hand over signed contracts to Service operations.
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or a similar subject area and have experience of working in a similar position working with sales or commercial contracts, preferably within the renewable energy and wind sector.
You will have a strong understanding of engineering principles along with an understanding of UK and Ireland legal frameworks and commercial / contractual law and have experience of working towards challenging sales targets.
You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong rapport with internal and external customers and have proven negotiation skills.

There is a requirement to travel on a regular basis which will include nights away from home.
The successful candidate will also be required to hold a Full UK / EU Driving Licence.
