Nordex UK have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Communications & Marketing Intern starting in Summer 2027. 

Contract Type:  12 month Internship starting in August 2027

Location: Didsbury, Manchester

Hours: Our people work a 37-hour week which includes a 3pm finish on Fridays.

 

Please be aware successful candidates are required to commit to a 12 month full-time placement

 

 

How can you make a difference?

 

As a Communications & Marketing Intern you will support communications, marketing, and brand activity across Nordex UK & Ireland, part of the global Nordex Group.

This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who already understands how social media works in the real world. You’ll support content creation, copy editing, and visual storytelling, with a strong focus on LinkedIn and day-to-day communications activity.

 

What will you be doing? 

 

 • Creating, editing and scheduling content for Nordex UK & Ireland’s LinkedIn channel
• Supporting copywriting and copy-editing to ensure clarity, accuracy, and tone of voice
• Helping to source content from colleagues across offices, sites, and teams
• Supporting short-form visual content including carousels and simple videos
• Designing on-brand visuals using Canva

• Adapting templates and creating new assets as needed
• Supporting basic image and video editing
• Assisting with internal and external communications initiatives
• Supporting content planning and editorial calendars
• Helping to track engagement and performance to understand what works

 

 

What are we looking for? 

 

You will either be:

  • Studying a marketing or business degree and be looking to undertake a placement as part of your degree
  • A recent graduate with a marketing or business degree who is looking for some work experience in this role.

 

Other skills and behaviours required for this role include: 

 

  • Excellent Social Media awareness, particularly Linkedin, with the ability to demonstrate social media or content experience
  • Fluent in Canva and be comfortable creating visual content independently and have excellent English skills with the ability to provide copy-edit confidently.
  • Strong organisational and attention to detail skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • AI knowledge and how it can be used to improve efficiency.
  • High level of competency in using MS Office packages
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn

Recruitment Process

Stage 2    We will review each application we receive and will let you know by the end of November 2026 if we will be proceeding with your application.

 

Stage 3    If your application is successful in reaching stage 3, you will be invited to attend one of our assessment centres.  We appreciate Assessment centres may sound scary, but our assessment centres are designed to be fun and to give you an opportunity to show us how amazing you will be as an apprentice at Nordex.  

Our assessment centres will take place in Manchester in December 2026.

 

Stage 4    Successful candidates will be notified by the beginning of January 2027.  

 

Stage 5    Successful candidates will join our team in August 2027.
