Nordex has an exciting opportunity for the role of Communications & Marketing Intern supporting our team across UK & Ireland.
Contract Type: 12-month Internship starting in Summer 2026
Location: The role is based at our office in Didsbury, Manchester
Hours: 37 hours per week
How can you make a difference?
As a Communications & Marketing Intern you will support communications, marketing, and brand activity across Nordex UK & Ireland, part of the global Nordex Group.
This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who already understands how social media works in the real world. You’ll support content creation, copy editing, and visual storytelling, with a strong focus on LinkedIn and day-to-day communications activity.
What will you be doing?
• Creating, editing and scheduling content for Nordex UK & Ireland’s LinkedIn channel
• Supporting copywriting and copy-editing to ensure clarity, accuracy, and tone of voice
• Helping to source content from colleagues across offices, sites, and teams
• Supporting short-form visual content including carousels and simple videos
• Designing on-brand visuals using Canva
• Adapting templates and creating new assets as needed
• Supporting basic image and video editing
• Assisting with internal and external communications initiatives
• Supporting content planning and editorial calendars
• Helping to track engagement and performance to understand what works
What are we looking for?
You will be currently studying or of recently graduated in a business or marketing degree and be looking to undertake a placement either as part of your degree or to gain work experience.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong social medial awareness, particularly using LinkedIn, with the ability to demonstrate social media or content experience.
You will be fluent in Canva and be comfortable creating visual content independently and have excellent English skills with the ability to provide copy-edit confidently.
You will have excellent organisational and attention to detail skills and be comfortable working with lots of different stakeholders across the business.
