We are currently looking to recruit an Aftersales Manager on a Permanent basis to join the team covering the UK and Ireland.

 

The successful candidate will be based out of either our office at Didsbury near Manchester or our Oola office in Co Limerick.

 


How can you make a difference?

 

The Aftersales Manager is responsible for the development and growth of our aftersales business, utilising a proactive approach to sales opportunities on existing and lost accounts.  The successful candidate will lead the development of new aftersales product offerings and develop and maintain relationships with our key customers.


 
What will you be doing?  

 

Key responsibilities for this role include:  

•    Responsibility for the development of new aftersales product offerings within the region
•    Collaboration with cross functional teams to analyse customer requirements and develop aftersales product roadmap
•    Monitoring and analysing aftersales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions 
•    Conducting market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth, ensuring these opportunities are incorporated in our aftersales strategies and processes
•    Responsibility for the after sales strategy, target and growth for responsible accounts
•    Proactive targeting of repair / modification / maintenance offers including follow-up, negotiation and closing the offer
•    Responsible for after sales order intake, revenue and EBIT for responsible accounts
•    Key contact for a defined portfolio of clients for any commercial / contractual issues including complaints, disputes and warranty claims
•    Building, developing and maintaining long-term client relationships ensuring customer satisfaction
•    End to end management of service agreement renewals for existing wind farms which includes, tendering, negotiation of terms and conditions, cost analysis and pricing
•    Building a strategy to reactivate lost accounts
•    Responsibility for calculating and collecting contract variable fees
•    Knowledge transfer of Maintenance Service Agreement contractual scope to the operational service teams

 


What are we looking for?  

 

The successful candidate will have proven experience working within a technical sales or business development position where you will have experience of working towards challenging sales targets.

 

You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport with both internal and external customers and you will have previous experience of working with service or sales contracts. 


You will hold either a business or technical subject degree or equivalent and have an understanding of engineering principles along with an understanding of UK and Irish legal framework and commercial/contractual law.

There is a requirement to travel on a regular basis which will include nights away from home
