Position Summary:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will analyze past and present financial data for the Technology Management (TM) business, prepare business cases, and estimate future expenditures to support Management decisions.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Compile, compare, and analyze monthly actuals vs budget and forecast.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly internal management reporting, including actuals vs budget and forecast by topic, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI’s through scorecards
  • Work with the team to put together, review, and challenge monthly forecasts.
  • Understand and track all the different costs of each project and analyze potential cost reductions.
  • Develop business cases for major projects to help guide management decisions.
  • Work with global team to analyze the potential improvements in the TM process and to explain variations on costs.
  • Coordinate with different departments to gather information for the yearly budget.
  • Coordinate and work closely with accounting for accuracy and efficiency of reporting
  • Develop new tools for cost understanding.
  • Support senior leadership team on ad hoc analysis and reports as required.
  • Consolidate and monitor risks and opportunities for the division.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • BS in Accounting/Finance required.
  • MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with emphasis on financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities where problems are complex.
  • Ability to identify areas of financial risk, inform management and develop contingency plans.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills.
  • High level of computer literacy to keep up with current analytical tools and monitor business performance; experience with, SAP platform is a plus.
  • Ability to work in an environment of continuous change and different challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to boil down trends into concise operational reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the staff within the company.
  • Positive and professional attitude and strong leadership skills.
  • Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver’s abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.
