Position Title: Team Lead - Project Documentation

Role Overview

Team Leader – Project Documentation Specialist Position: Leads and coordinates the India‑based documentation team, delivers hands‑on project documentation, aligns daily activities with global priorities, and collaborates with international project and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize tasks within the Customer Documentation team in India.
  • Act as first point of contact for the Customer Documentation Coordinator.
  • Ensure alignment of the team with global processes, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Support onboarding, mentoring, and day-to-day guidance of team members
  • Archive, compile, follow up, and deliver customer documentation.
  • Ensure documentation delivery according to TSA requirements and agreed formats.
  • Support contractual and payment milestones through timely documentation submission.
  • Monitor documentation status throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure documentation quality in cooperation with PQM and Quality teams.
  • Support project handover to service.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical education.
  • Prior experience coordinating or leading small teams.
  • Experience in international or multicultural project environments.
  • 6 - 10 years background in Quality or Engineering & industrial or technical environments
  • 2 + years experience in Team Lead role.
  • Exposure to process standardization or continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Competencies:

  • High level of English (written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Leadership mindset with hands-on and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • German level B1
  • Experience working with contractual documentation frameworks
  • Good understanding of quality principles applied to documentation
  • Experience working with global stakeholders across different time zones

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong operational proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • SAP user knowledge.
  • Experience with documentation management tools (e.g. BIC, SharePoint, Teamcenter)
