Position Title: Specialist – SAP Tooling
Function: Global Logistics & Material Management
Position Overview : The Specialist – SAP Tooling is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, ERP transactions, and tooling stock reliability across multiple locations including warehouses, yards, ports, and wind farms. This role plays a critical part in maintaining alignment between physical stock movements and system transactions while supporting continuous improvement of SAP-driven inventory and logistics processes. The position involves close collaboration with global teams and supports the transition of one role from Europe (Spain) to India.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain accurate stock transactions in ERP systems (SAP).
- Perform Goods Receipt for tools and spare parts in SAP.
- Monitor and control commitments, ensuring alignment with budgeted and approved expenditures.
- Update, manage, and reconcile inventory across warehouses, yards, ports, and wind farms within SAP.
- Ensure stock reliability and compliance with defined logistics and inventory procedures.
- Prevent and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory movements and ERP transactional data.
- Extract, validate, analyze, and report data from SAP and related systems to support KPI tracking and performance dashboards.
- Manage and validate supplier invoices through workflow systems, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Provide SAP process support, identifying gaps and driving improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Participate in special and cross-functional projects related to logistics, tooling, and system optimization.
- Collaborate effectively with global and multicultural stakeholders.
- Travel up to 30% as required to support operational activities across locations.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, material management, inventory control, or ERP-supported operations.
- Industry experience from Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Manufacturing, or similar sectors is preferred.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Advanced user of ERP systems (SAP) – mandatory.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Proven ability to manage and analyze large datasets with a highly analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, goods receipt processes, and stock reconciliation.
- Highly detail-oriented, reliable, and accountable with a strong sense of ownership.
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to anticipate operational needs.
- Strong team player with exceptional collaboration skills across global teams.
- Business-fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
- Spanish and/or German language skills are an advantage.
